Character Media, a media outlet that reports on Asian American culture, entertainment and news has named SB19 as one of the top Asian musicians who are reshaping American music.
SB19 was second in a list of only eight artists who’s reach has surpassed the borders of their own countries and onto American soil. This is a huge honor considering SB19’s humble beginnings but certainly a reflection of their tremendous efforts to make their brand of Filipino music accessible to not only Tagalog listeners but also to English listeners in the US.
SB19’s influence was documented by the huge success of their 2023 Pagtatag World Tour where American fans showed their intense love for the group. Character Media’s mention is among one of the many accolades that SB19 has received and will continue to receive in the future.
